The LAVA Centre is an interactive exhibition and educational center located in Hvolsvöllur, Iceland. It showcases the geological and volcanic history of Iceland through state-of-the-art exhibits and multimedia presentations. The center is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and admission costs 2,900 ISK for adults and 1,450 ISK for children.

The opening hours of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss are from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm during the summer months and from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during the winter months. The black sand beaches of Vik are accessible at all times.
